WOW

I've heard of this book but wasn't sure when it was published. I heard all of the talk on radio shows and everything but now I figured out what its called and I am so happy to say that I can go to the bookstore and buy my own copy. From what I understand, the author describes these "hip hop Moguls" but keeps their names discreet by making up new names for them.
Can you guess who these industry men are? Leave your comments
“Malcolm” A record mogul who has diversified his success in music, business, clothing, and politics and who always has a stunning woman on his arm, had his boy toy in VIP with him (at an industry party)

“Gus”An R&B singer/songwriter who had written major hits for artists including En Vogue, SWV and Changing Faces. His clear skin, dark eyes, bushy eyebrows and short wavy hair….he was just too pretty. He eventually became a “gangster styled” artist.

“Craig”Top rapper who was a part of a successful rap group that changed the dynamics of hip-hop with their philosophical rhymes over hard-core beats. Craig garnered attention because of his rugged good looks that made him a standout in the group.

“Drake”He was a member of one of the most popular R&B groups. They had several number one Billboard hits, and the young girls loved him because the adorable, sexy front singer, Drake had a flamboyant stage presence. He was very eccentric in his style, defying more conventional looks in his appearance. Drake didn’t hold back when he performed either…showing his muscular frame. [He] branched out on his own as a solo artist and had a huge hit single which led to a few acing roles in major motion pictures.

“Eli”A popular multi platinum rapper who started his own label. Eli was a forced to be reckoned with. He flew out the gate with his debut album and would become a mainstay in the ever-changing Hip Hop industry. He has been hailed as one of the greatest rappers to bless the mic.

“Quinn”He had a velvet melodic voice and broke out with a sensual single in the late 90’s. His self-titled debut album produced two top Billboard hits.

“Galvin”Once a part of a legendary R&B group who had experienced a brief stint as a successful solo artist, was allegedly linked romantically to an A-list male actor.

I Don't Usually Do This...

Lord knows I HATE telling people what kind of parfum I wear. I like to be the only one that can wear something. lol. I hate to look, smell, act like everybody else. So here goes. I wear Bond No.9. You can most likely find it in Saks Fifth Ave. Don't think you can roll up in there with twenty dollas and buy it. Twenty dollars will probably get you a sample. LOL! The shit is sooo exclusive that the guy who actually designs the bottles held a class at Saks one Saturday to let you design your OWN bottle- But you had to purchase a full sized bottle of this liquid gold. I love it! The good thing about it is that men and women can wear it. Its the shiiit!! I currently own Wall Street, Andy Warhol Union Square, Brooklyn, and The Scent of Peace. I wear Wall Street the most, its my favorite one. On their website http://www.bondno9.com/ they sell them cheaper than Saks (of course) 100ml- 198.00, 50ml- 140.00, 7ml-45.00-- The prices really aren't that bad considering that this is not watered down like body spray or a commercial scent. So go to your nearest Saks and test them out. Oh yeah, you can blend the scents too because that's what they are made for anyways.

Cute All Day--Everyday

I should just start taking pictures of myself everyday once I get dressed. I keep my outfits nice and simple. I hate that colorful shit, plastic beads, oh and the 80's look is so played. Me-myself, I keep it fresh with some jeans or nice pants and a nice top and roll out. I think I just carry my wardrobe differently than others. I'm happy being plain. I got this top when I was in Chicago a few weekends ago.

By the way, before I sign off. I just wanna say congrats to the big homie LeBron for being awarded MVP today! That's something to be proud about-- Now let's win this championship baby!

Pick ONE

I just want somebody--
anybody to tell me when it was okay to wear your hair curly,
then wear a straight bumped under bang..
NOT NEVER...That shit is NEVER okay.
Get it together homegirls.. Polish your hairstyle up,
its one or the other, curly or straight..pick ONE!
I'm just so tired of lookin at that weak shit.
Oh yea and invisible parts--
quick weaves wit all the diff colors..
GIVE IT A REST..
Alright I'm done...

Throw Back

WOW. I did this interview two years ago for Eighty81. It's so amazing to see my transformations over the years. I actually loved my short hair. I kinda wanna go back. The answers to the questions are all still the same except now my profession is Healthcare/Model/Blogger..lol Enjoy!

Name: Iyuana
Age: 22
Profession: Fashion Designer

What are the first three things that you notice in a guy/girl?I
love an arrogant, cocky, confident man. He has to be smart to stimulate my mind and have nice shoes, clothes, pretty teeth/smile with a nice chocolate complexion.

What are some turnoffs?A man who is very loud, rude, bad breath. I don't want to look at his smile and say I know where Fourth of July was….short, and someone who has no long term goals. Oh and bad pick up lines!

Do you pay attention to a guy/girl's personal style? How important is it to you?Yes I do pay attention to personal style. Having your own personal style is important to me because that means you are a leader and not a follower, meaning you are a trendsetter.

Whats been the worst experience you have had with the opposite sex? This guy couldn't buy a clue if he was a millionaire. We weren't together but he tried to buy my love I would dawg him and he told people we were together. He sent roses to my job. He was being nice the wrong way. He just made me so mad but the whole thing was he was trying to act like he had all this money and he was trying to be something he wasn't. My whole thing is– just be real.

What's your idea of a perfect first date?I love when a man surprises me, not easily impressed but not hard to please. A nice dinner at a place I've never been, then get some ice cream and have some alone time to get to know one another.

Read a Muthafu*kin BOOK!!!

Well, I am a bit of a nerd at times, I have my moments. I've decided to read some books. The last book I read was Midnight by Sistah Soulja. It was pretty good. I didn't get to finish it because my mom snatched it right out of my hands claiming to read it but I know she didn't even touch it yet. So a friend of mine says he's going to read Albert Einsteins book The World As I See It. So I am going to see what that's about just to see whats going on. I also want to read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I need to broaden my horizons on books instead of just reading books by black authors and reading the newspaper. Share some of your favorite book titles with me. Mine has got to be The Coldest Winter Ever...Kinda reminds me of my life...
